“It’s the perfect edible to start the new year fresh – especially for those of us who’ve decided to start hitting the gym in January.”
Tinctures provide one of the most discreet, versatile forms of Cannabis edible. It can be added to beverages, used to finish off salads, drizzled on fish, or simply taken sublingually for maximum effect.
Bend-based Dr. Jolly’s has become known for its alcohol-free 1000mg tinctures, and for good reason.
The MCT-oil based tinctures are clean, effective, and potent. For Oregon Leaf’s Health Issue, we chose to spotlight the hybrid version of the Jolly Tincture (indica pictured).
Jolly Tincture offers a simple, herbaceous flavor, and a relatively quick uptake when taken sublingually. I found it to be effective for micro-dosing on the weekend, especially once I had the dose dialed-in. At roughly 25mg THC per milliliter, it’s pretty easy to ingest a few extra milligrams and get a little more relaxed than you expected.
Of course, customized dosing means you can crank the dial as high or as low as you’d like. I found that a moderate dose of the hybrid Jolly Tincture simply smoothed off the edges, melting away any stress, allowing me to enjoy the day.
It’s the perfect edible to start the new year fresh – especially for those of us who’ve decided to start hitting the gym in January. And since it’s an MCT-based edible, it can also be used as a topical — rubbed into joints and muscles post workout.
