Southern Belle is a bodacious blend of Irene OG and Dosidos bred by Archive Seed Bank, and the folks at Evans Creek Farms are responsible for this all around stunner. Hunted in-house, this particular phenotype boasts a crisp contrast of colors, with flecks of bright purple throughout the deep green and black buds.

A dense structure and thick coating of trichomes makes the nugs as satisfying to break down as they are to smoke. Crack one open and you’re greeted with a sweet, earthy scent that quickly fades into fine notes of funky fuel. You’ll want to find yourself a freshly cleaned bong to reap the rewards of this pleasantly complex profile. On the tongue, it’s a mix of sweet, piney, creamy and meaty flavors, with smoke that brings almost instantaneous salivation – not to be confused with ‘salvation’ – although it may bring that too.

The big, bronchial punch and quick onset are probably best suited for somewhat experienced consumers, but the aftermath is enjoyable and relaxed. It offers a warm and fuzzy cerebral response and a tangible reminder of the tiny THC molecules hugging your head’s
CB1 receptors.

This strain leans on the laid-back side and if you let it, even enters into tunnel-vision territory.
This humble reviewer enjoys big bowls of Southern Belle in the evenings, but its buds are tempting at any time of the day – especially if you have to melt some stress and pain away.
